The Husqvarna K 960 Chain is a gas-driven power cutter with a diamond chain. It is based on the popular K960 power cutter and includes all of its technical and ergonmic advantages.
With a concrete chain saw, you get better access in tight situations, better control and avoid gyro forces which allows for sharp corners without over-cutting. Used in combination with a traditional power cutter to make the initial cuts provides the fastest and most economical technique for deep cutting.
DuraStarter™ also includes a starter cord with greatly increased durability. This makes the starter virtually maintenance free, giving a further boost to the reliability of our cutters. A dust-sealed starter, and the durable starter cord reduce the risk of downtime and increase reliability and service life.
SmartCarb, built-in automatic filter compensation, maintains high power and lowers fuel consumption.
EasyStart ensures 50% easier starting by reducing the compression in the cylinder during starting.

Anti-vibration system reduces vibrations in the cutter handles, so they are more comfortable to hold and can be used for longer periods. To provide the user a comfortable operating position and to reduce strain, the distance between the handles is large. The handles and the short engine body mean the user always stands close to the machine, for easier handling and control.
