Non-woven material impregnated with abrasive grains for blending, finishing and removal of paint and rust. Blends and smoothes coated abrasive scratch patterns. Easily removes welding or cutting discoloration on stainless steel. Compact backing minimizes work piece scratches, allows for full use of disc material and softer/buffing-like finishing. Commonly used after sanding and prepping steel, aluminum, stainless, and chrome. Most fabricators sand or clean the surface and use these to take out the small scratches and buffing marks from more aggressive abrasives. The MAROON colored discs are aluminum oxide with is approximately 200 grit. The GRAY colored discs are a silicon carbide material which is approximately 400 grit.
