Starrett deep cut bi-metal hole saws feature hardened, heat resistant, positive rake HSS teeth with alloy backing. With a cutting depth of 2", these strong and shatter resistant hole saws economically cut wood, metal and steel. When compared to other top quality brand name hole saws, the Starrett hole saw is at least 1/2" longer. For use with hand held or fixed drills, as well as drill presses. Bottom line: great for heavy duty work.
